FWDG was founded in 1972, by then 20 year-old Larry Mark and his Father, Ernest. The Mark Family dates back to 1904 in the Beaufort area and is proud of the legacy created by 3 generations.

FWDG has been serving furniture needs throughout the Lowcountry area, including Beaufort, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Hilton Head, Okatie, Ridgeland, Seabrook, Walterboro and Charleston. FWDG has become a source of quality home furnishings for the Coastal Empire of Georgia, including Savannah, Rincon, Port Wentworth, and Pooler.
